Troubleshoot Scale Connection

In this article

If your weight isn’t showing up in the Ciba Health app, it might not have synced properly from your Withings scale. Try these steps:

Step 1: Ensuring Your Scale Syncs with Withings

  • Step on the scale once.
  • After the weight animation, check the top-left corner of the screen for the first three letters of your first name (GLO in the image below). This should blink briefly.

If you don’t see the letters, the weight didn’t upload.

  • Open the Withings app.
  • Pull down on the home screen to refresh.
  • Under “Latest Measurements,” check if your most recent weight reading appears.

Step 2: Check if the Weight Made It Online

To be sure the data really uploaded:

  • Visit account.withings.com. You should see the same weights as in the app.
  • Or download your data: Go to Account → Data → Download my data.

If today’s weight is missing, go back to Step 1.

Bonus Checks (Optional but Helpful)

  • Go to: Withings app → Devices → Body → Wi-Fi configuration to re-enter Wi-Fi info.
  • Try removing one battery for 5 seconds, then put it back (this restarts the scale).
  • Make sure your scale’s batteries are above 20% (replace if unsure).
  • In the Withings app, set units to kg or lb.
  • Check that your app is fully updated.

Step 3: If It’s Still Not Working

Email support@cibahealth.com with:

  • A screenshot of the missing weight in the Withings app (show date + weight).
  • A screenshot of your Withings web dashboard showing it’s missing.
  • The time of that weigh-in (long-press on the graph or tell us the date/time).
  • Your Withings account email (or your Withings user ID if known).

We’ll send this to Withings support for deeper investigation.

📌 Most issues are fixed by these steps — thank you for your patience!
